This street near me is Turnham Green Terrace. It has cars parked both sides and room for 1-2 cars between them. Meanwhile pedestrians are squeezed into narrow pavements. We need to reclaim this roadspace for pedestrians in an age of social distancing.

It’s been much more relaxing cycling with the kids with lower traffic levels. I wish it were always like this!#BuildBackCleanerAir pic.twitter.com/qkYyCDdQ5T

"Finsbury Park is normally open to cars but they've closed it to give pedestrians & cyclists more space. I really like how it's restored it to its true purpose as a green space rather than an additional car park." 🏃♀️

Our route to the local shops is definitely a lot less stressful/quieter. More people walking out across the roads - I guess because of less traffic but also to socially distance? #BuildBackCleanerAir pic.twitter.com/ON3gRWZDyh
